My Engineering Philosophy

I believe an engineer is a problem solver who should be capable of addressing any type of challenge they encounter. My approach is centered on deconstructing the “why” and “what” of every system to understand it inside out. By identifying architectural patterns, I can solve complex problems more efficiently and adapt to new technologies quickly.


Who I Am

I’m a software engineer who enjoys solving difficult engineering problems rather than specializing in a single technology or domain. I like understanding systems end-to-end, identifying bottlenecks, and building solutions that improve reliability, developer productivity, and business outcomes.

Over the past few years, I’ve worked across fintech and e-commerce, building production systems ranging from Open Banking platforms and enterprise marketplace integrations to deployment infrastructure, internal developer tools, and AI-powered engineering workflows. I’ve worked with Java, Go, TypeScript, React, Kubernetes, and cloud-native infrastructure, but I believe engineering is about choosing the right tool for the problem—not becoming attached to a particular stack.

I enjoy working across the entire engineering stack. Whether it’s designing distributed event-driven systems, building backend services, automating infrastructure, strengthening security, optimizing deployment pipelines, or integrating complex third-party platforms, I’m most motivated when solving problems that have a measurable impact.

Security has become a natural part of how I think about software through my experience building fintech systems involving HSMs, OAuth, mTLS, encryption, and regulatory compliance. More recently, I’ve also been exploring how LLMs, MCP, and agentic workflows can automate engineering tasks and improve developer productivity.

Above all, I enjoy learning unfamiliar technologies by building real systems, taking ownership of challenging problems, and understanding how software works from infrastructure to product.
